Team BUILT began in January 2020 and has since grown into a thriving community of women pursuing one shared goal — becoming a better version every day.

I’m Brooklyn Hillenbrand, founder and head coach of the Built Brand. I hold a B.S. in Health Sciences (Pre-Physical Therapy) with a focus on Nutrition. After playing collegiate soccer for two years, I transitioned to competitive bodybuilding — competing in eight shows across the U.S., earning national qualifications, and placing 1st at Collegiate Nationals (2018).
I began training clients in 2015 from a home gym and worked at Lifetime Fitness (Kids Club Trainer / Group Fitness) before spending 3+ years as a trainer and group fitness instructor at Power Train Sports Institution. In May 2019, I launched a subscription training membership, Body by Brooklyn, and began offering online coaching. In January 2020 I expanded to Team Brooklyn Built, which has since evolved into Built Brand.
Today, the Built Brand is a women’s fitness and wellness company helping women worldwide build confidence in the weight room, become stronger versions of themselves, and create sustainable life–fitness balance. Fitness became my lifeline after a third knee surgery at 17; lifting rebuilt my strength and purpose. My mission is to help every woman discover how powerful her strength can make her.

I needed an app that would help me track my goals, look at my workouts from my trainer Brooklyn, and most importantly sync to MyFitnessPal. The app is super smooth, love the little timers within the workout and is a great indicator on my week. It helps me hit my water goals, hydration goals and keep macros in check. Love love love!
